today was the 1st day of soccer tryouts..............i will give u he blow by blow account and u can say how it went before i say how i thought it went....(i just love torturing u, u wont find out how it went till i type it/ u read it mwwaaahahahahahahaha!!)
1.) 95-100 degres HUMID2.)
2 laps (not bad)
3.) During more warm ups my back (remember my terrible curvey spine) starts hurting soo bad i have to sit down (not good to wimp out on tryout day let me tell u)
WATER BREAK
4.) Got back up to play this game (take too long to explain) i got so sick i couldn't c because of the stars in my eyes. I went to go sit down again.......my other friend sat down too.
WATER BREAK
5.) We did some 1 on 1's me and my partner didn't get a goal so we had to help the coach lift up the goal. After that (it wasn't so hard) we went ovewr to find that same friend sat down again making everything uneven. Of course this 1 coach knew i was sick and made me sit out (suggesting sit out NOT GOOD)
6.) I went back out to play a couple of rounds of 1 on 1's i did NOT win.
WAER BREAK
WE TOOK A NICE LONG 20 MIN BREAK
7.) We did some 4 on 4's (not too bad i made it)
WATER BREAK
8.) Here's the BAD part. The coaches said we weren't working hard enough (we were it was just SO hot!) So she said we had to run 5 100 yard sprints.......the lenght of the soccer field with only 30 secound break when u make it under 16 secounds. I ran 1 in 10 then 20 then 25 and i couldn't do it any more. I had to stop and get water i was very very sick. The friend that was sick earlier too fainted.
9.) We stopped and then coach said we do theese streches which killed my back.
WATER BREAK
10.) We were forced to run 3 more 100 yard sprints. After the 1st 1 i tossed my milk and cookies and had to stop. 11.) Goalie practice was canceled and i ahd to wait for my mom to find a ride.
How did i do?
My thought: Im not gonna make the soccer team. Well i wont cry in front of anyone there but i will when i get home ill tell u tomarro or wed. Please post your opinions!
